You will be joining Verizon Consumer Group’s Foundational Product Organization as a critical member of the journey product team. This team is responsible for creating and maintaining the life-cycle of customer information, a framework to bring together different consumer journeys across Verizon systems. You will work with all levels of management, and strong communication skills are required.
Working as data analyst to Identify, describe and document Data gaps and processed to satisfy Business Use cases
Working with IT teams and various ACT teams to groom user stories and implement use cases
Data Gathering, Analysis, Sizing and Valuation of data to fulfill various business requirements
Documentation of product details and testing results to ensure business continuity
Planning and executing User Acceptance testing of the product delivery
Performing exploratory Data Analysis on the data loaded
Validating data trend aligns to predictive objectives
Leveraging time series, linear analysis or otherwise to determine the evaluated insights needed
Cleaning, manipulating, and organizing messy and complex data for easy Data Analysis.
Presenting final results to a senior and make adjustments based on the feedback.
Using the intelligence platform to power new for the product including but not limited to partnering with channel, customer experience, execution team, and other stakeholders to maximize the use of each intelligence asset created by the team.
Agile development and project management skills
Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence
Deliver data-driven AI based recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders
Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R
Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying databases, Big Query knowledge on Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques .Knowledge in machine learning algorithms
You enjoy building, testing and launching products and services. You’re worked towards developing new methodologies and exploit ground breaking technologies to push our product and service portfolio even further. You’re flexible and adaptable, and have sophisticated influence and negotiation skills.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Product owner experience or degree.
Experience partnering directly with development teams in an agile format to produce application capabilities required by the business.
Experience in data-driven, root cause analysis for large scale projects and/or cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of strong and timely execution on projects and deliverables.
Strong conflict resolution skills, with the ability to find areas of agreement, brainstorm solutions, and gain consensus and alignment on solutions.
