    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing, Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated, talented **Entry Level Test & Evaluation Lab Technician (Metrology & Calibration) **to join the Metrology Laboratory team located in Heath, OH.In this position you will supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.

    • Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down.

    • Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results.

    • Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test-related problems.

    • Works under close supervision.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Minimum of 18 years of age

    • Have an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Related Field

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    • Experience in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
