About the Position: Communications and Network Division (CND) Radios Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Branch is seeking a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic and self-starter to support Program Manager, Tactical Radios (PM TR) as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Radio SATCOM Branch supports PM TR to provide the Army and other services with tactical radio communications systems.

Job Description

• Plan, coordinate, and provide information systems security analysis or certification/validation to Program Executive Office (PEO),
• Conduct detailed analysis of security requirements for new systems or modification to existing systems.
• Recommend and document security requirements from Federal, DoD and DA regulatory guidance, higher level policies, and system unique concerns.
• Analyze vulnerabilities to determine risks to the system, considering system development and operational environments, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical expertise in information assurance/cybersecurity.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments of systems.
• Serve as information security technical advisor and consultant.
• Create and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts.

AND In addition, you must meet the specialized experience below: Specialized experience is defined as: one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-02/GS-11) in the Federal service which includes (1) Preparing, submitting, and/or monitoring accreditation packages through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process; (2) Performing authorization to operate (ATO) duties to include inheritance model for the entire system lifecycle; and (3) Demonstrating use of cybersecurity concepts and tools such, as DISA STIGs, SCAP, SCC Tool, eMASS, and ACAS, to validate system security accreditation.
