Summary

The Bank Customer Relations Specialist-Stifel Pledged Assets (SPA) is responsible for interacting with customers to provide general information in response to inquiries about products and services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively.
• Accurately post payments, process manual billings, and accrual adjustments accordingly.
• Maintain quality customer service by accurately and promptly processing loan payments, disbursements, and payoffs.
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.

Qualifications

• Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
• Strong Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
• When learning or teaching new things, select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively during inter-departmental and external interactions.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• No experience required. 1+ years experience in customer service or banking setting preferred.

Systems & Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
