The Sales Operations Intern-Sweeteners will be responsible for supporting sales representatives and assisting in sales-related activities for our US/Canada sweetener sales team. This role will support the business as a key member of the team helping sales representatives improve productivity and selling, while also playing a critical role in assuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded. This individual will also act as a communications hub between field sales and the internal functions of the company.
Core Responsibilities:
Partner with supply and demand teams to ensure source points for customer shipments are aligned with customer contracts along with internal systems
Create and maintain a comprehensive database to capture customer sourcing approvals to create more shipping flexibility within our supply chain
Work internally to create complete customer score cards for potential customer QBRs and customer meetings
Track KPIs for shipped not invoiced orders, pricing approvals, orders on hold and past due, and orders missing pricing
Assist in customer 360 adoption within sweetener business
Attend contract volume management meetings with commercial organization
Liaison with commercial, contract and pricing, and finance on reconciliation and rebate processes
Participate in projects within commercial organization to optimize and streamline existing processes

Qualified candidates will have:
Progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Management, Marketing, Food Science or related field with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 preferred
Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term
Proficiency in managing data within Excel or similar databases like Salesforce preferred
Proven proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ect.)
Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
