As a member of the Global Real Estate Portfolio Strategy and Retail team, you will provide strategic direction in support of the integration of various Verizon's business entities into a consolidated portfolio, driving business synergies and real estate savings.
Developing relationships at all levels of business unit leaders and fully understand their business priorities, work culture, goals, objectives and business drivers.
Aligning and Building a cross-functional team composed of various business groups, IT, Real Estate, Legal, Communications, Change Management.
Aligning Real Estate Strategies with Business Priorities and developing plans to support both.
Communicating with professionalism in order to achieve direction on such plans by the Real Estate Sr. Manager, business unit leaders and executives to manage GRE strategic initiatives across all organizations to include tactical planning and decision making, day-to-day management, status reporting and escalation of issues where needed.
Obtaining and maintaining executive buy-in and continued program sponsorship.
Preparing and delivering executive level presentations to secure plan approvals and project funding.
Providing regular and proactive client communications to ensure all client concerns are addressed in a timely manner in coordination with Real Estate Business Relationship Managers.
Maintaining accurate status for all owned projects.
Communicating program status to business leaders and supporting organizations via status reporting and team meetings.
Overseeing strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads.
Assisting and communicating with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
Reviewing, designing, and executing improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
Improving current processes and optimizing organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
Monitoring progress closely against plans and focus the attention of responsible client and provider management on deviations from plan before these become major problems.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of related work experience.
Experience in Project Management.
Experience leading large scale projects, strategic process improvement and organizational change management initiatives.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master's degree in Business, Real Estate or related discipline.
Experience in Marketing, Facilities Management, Hospitality and/or Events Management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Ability to work independently and in group environments.
Experience Consulting, with a focus on operations management.
Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Experience driving change and influencing decision making with senior management and external business partners.
Ability to identify and predict industry trends
Experience managing client relationships.
Self-motivated, work well in a fast-paced and complex environment and ability to resolve business issues and proposed solutions.
Experience communicating effectively at all levels including executive management with excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
Experience multitasking, While being detail oriented with strong project management, organization and time management skills.
Experience identifying improvement opportunities, evaluating options and developing solutions.
